Coffee is more than just a drink—it is the soul of the land, the breath of the Central Highlands, and the harmonious blend of nature and human craftsmanship. Beyond being a key economic crop, coffee in Đắk Lắk carries a rich legacy of knowledge, a heritage nurtured through generations. Recently, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism officially recognized The Knowledge of Coffee Cultivation and Processing in Đắk Lắk as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage (according to Decision No. 548/QD-BVHTTDL dated March 5, 2025), marking a significant milestone in the journey of preserving and elevating the cultural value of Vietnamese coffee.

This recognition is not only a tribute to the techniques of cultivation, harvesting, and processing but also a profound affirmation of the harmonious relationship between humans and nature. From seed selection and nurturing to harvesting and traditional processing methods, every step reflects a deep understanding of the land, climate, and seasonal rhythms. It is this deep-rooted knowledge that gives Đắk Lắk coffee its signature flavor—bold and free-spirited, much like the people of this land.

At Soul, we believe that heritage is not just about the past—it is a living legacy, continuously nurtured in the present and carried into the future. The recognition of Đắk Lắk's coffee cultivation and processing knowledge as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage is a powerful statement: Vietnamese coffee is not only delicious but also rich in soul, deeply rooted, and full of stories worth celebrating.
